2 shot I sent two years ago when we first started to use him? Then over to Red Cross to see Virginia. Then up to Veterans Service and Information where Miss Austen holds forth. Two men wearing discharge button were waiting. I stayed over five minutes and no one came out to check up so I walked out. They have fancy ideas and enough help so that I saw no point in spending more time I still think that office isn't necessary and I'm of the opinion when you want service we will be better satisfied to got to JIm Houle in Veterans Administration or else Red Cross. Jim is a contact office now for Vets Adm. in Des Moines but it will soon be a Vet. Adm. branch office with applications processed here medical and dental services in his office location too. The veteran is becoming a category to which to appeal, make over, or try to influence. Veterans vote, you know! The Community Nutrition Service had a news item in the Gazette the other day of how they make diets for veterans with medical recommendations. Well, for heavens sake, they are a Chest agency set up to make diets for anyone in Cedar Rapids which would automatically include veterans! I think the veterans back now are not typical in many respects. People
