2 Mr Preisall has moved back from Shell to his old stand. He was there 7 years and at Shell 3. Leone says all the Shell leasees but one in all the town quit as of today. She asked Julian why. He said he did not know but he found new faces every time he came to deliver a load of gas. He is still driving for Shell of course. Do you remember the night a little more than three years ago that I asked "why is Mr. Preisall in that station?" and then we saw the sign of his "New Location". I thought you bought Cities Service and wouldn't trade brands. Then you told me to follow Mr. Preisall and trade with him, buying the same grade. So I learned! And no account Proctor Perley had the station quite awhile. Dale Preisall is back in Parana now. Arnold is expecting to gooverseas he is at Fort Jackson now. He has been in the States longer than his folks expected him to be. He is signal corps too (Dale too). Lloyd got a medical discharge from the Navy for the rheumatic fever. He is back at Cherry-[Bunell?], but he get recurring swelling in his joints and can't work all the time. Verne Harger is at navel station in Fla. He has had rheumatic fever and is not able to do real active things. He is convalescing at a hospital and teaching a class-room group some subject. Seems to be all the news I can think of just now. I love my laddie. That isn't news because it has been so a long time now. Love, Laura
