817-19 St SE Cedar Rapids, Iowa July 19, 1945 Dearest, Joanie & I went to see a show about welsh people "The Corn is Green." I'm so interested in welsh culture, and language especially. One teacher in the show accented his words like Mr. Hodgson does. I'm sure you will never agree to a son if you dwell on the idea a bit that I'd like to keep the name Llewellyn in the family! Such a good Welsh name, you know. I'd give the little fellow a plainer name for everyday use, but as a written name for family line it has something in its favor.
