2 I have with you, you would receive lots of mail. As it is, I've written quite a bit and lots better than I did for one or two spells. I still need more letters from you if I'm to respond at length and often. This was a nice, warm, summer day. 88° and not sultry. It beat down plainly and directly and I enjoyed it. Humidity is another item, but we didn't have it today. I'm sitting up in the middle of our bed, pillow lengthwise behind me, and the dresser light on. The light shows up your side of our double picture. You've been looking at me from there ever since the picture came home. Do you remember the talk of turning the picture toward the mirror or at least away from the room?
