817-19 St S.E Cedar Rapids, Ia August 6, 1945 Dearest, The radio and the paper are bursting with news of the new atomic bomb. Such things sound fantastic but must be true. We will indeed need to have moral and ethical training for all mankind if such power is not diverted to careless destruction of humanity in later years. We are poor stewards now of the welfare of others and are selfish for personal interest.
