made some coffee for breakfast. I wore my slacks and didn't have my war paint on. So now I must get my face made & dressed for church. I did do up my hair for the day. I still always fix my hair first thing so I'll not be sloppy. Both our mothers always did their hair before breakfast, and I think that is one of their good habits that I will keep carried out. The younger generation doesn't go entirely to the dogs! Next year this time on a Sunday morn I won't have to sit at the end of the dining room table and write to convey ideas to you. I'll be hearing a few secrets from you in person. god willing, maybe as soon as your next birthday (which is a Friday, not Sunday this year). I love my husband. Dearest is more than a routine salutation to start a letter, it is the exact description of you. Love, Laura [doodle of two smiling stick figures]
