914 Maple Avenue Dayton, Kentucky July 17, 1943 Dear Aunt Frances, I am writing to thank you for the very nice billfold. How did you ever know I wanted one? I've always thought I'd get one some day now I won't have to. Thanks ever so much. Right now I haven't much to put in the new billfold. because I am not working. Not that there aren't jobs to get, but I'm going to business school. I've been there three weeks and have learned more in the way of shorthand than I did all last year at high school.
