Mon. I got this far yesterday when Wilbur came in with about 4 gallons of blackberries. So I canned them. Got 12 qts. Do you hear from Maurice? Where is he? I heard that your husband was in Africa, now. I suppose in Italy. Naturally you are anxious. Do you hear fairly regularly? From him, I mean. If I should be able to get home this year, do you think you could get home for a day or so? Much love, Cecil
