SEABEES CAMP PARKS. CALIFORNIA we have special passes. This area includes San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose, Stockton, and smaller towns. However, travel is crowded and prices high. There isn't much point, so far as I'm concerned, in running around the country every time one has a chance. We have quite a bit in the line of recreation and entertainment within the camp area for only a small cost. Have done some bowling, but can't say I'm anything like an expert. It seems that our family remains much the same, judging by the letters I receive. I am feeling fine and put away my share of the groceries. We have plenty to cook with - both equipment and groceries, but of course there is the same old bunch of gripers,which we cheerfully ignore or chide depending upon the situation. Well, write a line when you have the inclination. Hope you are well. Love, Maurice
