-2- how things go. I don't think it would be well to take her to CR except as a last resort, but if it finally comes to that is is "calming" to know that you think it could possibly be arranged. If she gets along in recovering from the anemia perhaps you could take a couple of weeks in September and that would finish this season. Maybe this time Tom will have had enough so he will cooperate in prying Dad off the farm. It is simply no place for old folks. I am concerned about my school work. I can't get anything much done & must finish by Jan '45 or lose my master's credits - the time limit is five years. I have my thesis to write & final written exam to take this summer so I may have to take more time off from my job than I spend at home. I am also negotiating for an annuity policy which pays $50 a month at age 65 and which costs $270 a year. It is wish Phoenix Mutual of Hartford. Know anything about them? I don't know what kind of a record you had of money owed me but my little books shows as follows: "Yearly Recap given her (LFH) on Feb 15, 1938 1934-35 $421.90 35-36 491.54 36-37 473.25 37-38 251.00 $1637.69
