-4- furnishing the basic things I already had. It also took time + energy to move but couldn't be avoided. The boss has offered me 12 hrs a week counseling next year. I don't know how many of them would have to be "over time" hours as he would expect me to keep up my office job. That remains to be worked out. Of course, anything can happen. The Boss is a political, social + economic liberal and the Board (bank presidents darn 'em) are quite jittery about it. Then our Dean of Arts + Sciences + the Chairman of the Chem Dept decided to create a "stink" and take it to the Board so things are rather topsy-turvy at the moment. This last is of course very confidential. They are having an "airing" at the Bd Meeting on next Monday. It may be that after that I'll write Dean Geiger quick, but at the present moment I am not planning to do anything about changing jobs. All for now. Love, S.H.
