U.S. INFANTRY CAMP CROFT, S.C. (7-20-42) Sunday Dearest. This being Sunday we dont have to do a thing I washed some clothes took a shower & shaved. Went to a movie last nite was a good one cost $.20 I went with a fellow in the next bunk he is a clean fellow from Kansas City most of the others are not so good they will probly make good soldiers all right. We have been here a week today only 12 more to go. We get up at 5:30 sweep the floor & mop it make our beds then go eat at about 6:30 then come back to the barracks one mess hall serves 4 barracks about 250 men one company. Some after seven we go out & take some exercises
