Oct 22 1942 Dearest. Another day passed without much doing everything is a muddle yet we have had no training at all yet There is a lot of rumor about what we will do, the most important one now is we will be trained as Rangers they are tough guys like the british commandos it don't make much difference to me what they do with our outfit they took four of our men out today they are going to be put in something easy they have physical defects.
