10/22/42 Dearest. Another day done much the same as the others this makes a week now since we came in. I havn't got a letter yet the mail must sure be slow from C.R. The musicians are getting togeather again they do real good There isn't a thing to tell you we are still not working hard at all I think next week they will give us some advanced training I have a few things to wash but the wash room is full so I will write first. I was over to the P.X. after supper got 5 bars of candy things are cheaper at the PX than at Camp Croft. I get lonesome at times but I don't let it bother me like some of the fellows. Some of them
