Oct 28 1942 Sunday Afternoon Dearest: Just go two letters from you that makes three from you and one from George This camp is a poor outfit all the way around mail service is terrible a bunch of jews seem to run it chow is poor not fit to eat and not enough of it I hate to think of staying here very long we were well trained at Camp Croft and they know it. that makes them all the worse they change ways of doing just to show authority They are not strict as Camp Croft about order or keeping neat.
