hard & long hours. Night before last he had to work until 12:30 so that I imagine he will be pretty tired tonight, because he was up until 12:00 last night. He looks swell & is just as cocky as he ever was so I guess Army life isn't getting him down. He will undoubtedly know by the first of the week whether he can live outside of camp and he is sure that he can. There are sure a lot of old men in the army here. They were thick on the streets last night. Along with the bunch of new 2nd Lieutenants we in the Air Corps and Signal Corps that came to town yesterday.
