149 Fruit Cocktail Gems 2 c fruit cocktail 1/2 c butter 1/2 c brown sugar 1/4 c granulated sugar 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1 egg 2 c flour 1/4 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. soda 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 tsp. cloves 1/2 c chop. walnuts 1/2 c. raisins Drain fruit & reserve syrup. Cream butter sugar & vanilla. Add egg; beat well. Sift together dry ingredients. Add alternately to creamed mixture w/ 1/3 c. syrup. Stir in nuts, raisins, fruit cocktail. Drop from teaspoon on cooky sheet. Bake @ 375 [degrees] for 10-12 min. Cool. (About 3 1/2 doz.)
