152 buttered 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1" baking pan. Cool. Melt chocl. Spread over hardened candy. Sprinkle with almonds. Break into pieces when cool. Makes 2 lbs. Date Waffles 1 c biscuit mix 1 c snipped Dates 1/2 c chop. walnuts 1/2 c sugar 2 eggs 1/4 c milk 2 tbsp. oil 1 tsp. vanilla Combine mix, dates, nuts. Beat eggs & sugar. Stir in milk, oil, vanilla. Fold into biscuit mix. Bake. Serve with vanilla ice cr.
