153 Funnel Cakes or Plowlines 3 eggs 2 cups milk 4 cups flour 1/3 cup sugar 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 tbsp. baking powder Lard or oil Beat eggs, add milk. Add sifted, dry ingredients, beat 'till smooth. Let stand few min. heat 4" fat to 375 [degrees]. Drop batter into fat with funnel, swirl around until it is 3" in diameter. Fry till golden brown. Drain & serve hot. Makes 12 cakes. Noodle Kugel 4 c broad noodles 4 eggs 3/4 c chic fat slat & pepper dash nutmeg Boil noodles, drain. Mix all ingredients. Bake in greased casserole at 375 degrees for 25 min. Serves 6.
