I received the birthday package and thank you very much for the pretty gown and slip. They are just right and I will have a lot of comfort wearing them. You are very kind and thoughtful. We had a letter from Maurice about a week ago He was at Seattle and didn't know when he would get started for home. It seems to take quite a while, but we may hear soon that he is on his way as he said he would write again. I feel he is glad even to be in the States again and will be home before long, that makes us all happy.
