As far as may needs are concerned, I don't think I have any at the moment. I bought myself some beautiful military oxfords (buckles, you know), some brown all-wool sox, and some shirts and shorts. I still need a shaving kit and a little business corresponding to an overnight bag, but these I can pick up at the store before I leave. Speaking of sweaters and Lana Turner, last Wednesday night Mrs Renn was entertaining, so Father and went to a movie; nothing would do but we must see somewhere I'll Find You; you can readily visualize Father's reaction to sex à la Clark and Lana. If you can still go to England with the Red Cross, I should strongly urge it: Father is altogether sympathetic (aside from being altogether healthy) and as I said before, John and I will be accessible if anything should happen. Anyway, play every angle you can think of before going to the Post or remaining with savage country. Don't come home; perhaps Dubuque does need you, but I don't think you need any more of Dubuque. Write soon. Love and thanks for every thing - Jody Thursday morning Induction order came this morning - Nov. 25, at 4:30 A.M. J.
