August, FRIDAY, 2, 1861. A little better to day Our Surgeons are no better than Brutes, and have no feeling at all for any of us. SATURDAY, 3. I volunteered as a Picket to night and borrowed a gun and started with our Co. Not being very well I fell asleep and was discovered by the corporal of the Guard, allright a narrow escape However SUNDAY 4.(No Entry)
