Prize Ginger Cookies. 2 cups molasses, 2 cups sugar 1 cup butter, 1 cup lard, 2 tablespoons ginger, stir together, and add 5 beaten eggs, 2 level teaspoons soda (dissolved in water,) 1 teaspoon van powdered sifted in stir flour with [illegible]work & knead in flour to roll & cut nicely Bake brown as possible turning let stand 2 days
