Rt #1 Cedar Rapids, Iowa Tues April 25 [1944] Dear Slim, Hows everything hope it is OK it is here only a little wet sure is putting us behind with field work got the oats in any way put it in the lower "20" Have had electricity for 4 weeks now it sure is a big help so you know we have a lot of stuff to use on it we didn't wire the whole house just 3 rooms the Kitchen Dining & the little Bed room & Basement got six lights in the barn. I have a Milking Machine now & dose that work swell have six cows now & expect to
