June 1 - 1944 4:30 AM Dear Slim" About time again isn't it just waiting for my coffee to get hot then out i go. Got my corn just about in we put it in in between showers this year got 66 acres got to plow the first now it grows sure has been wet. How has the world been treating you hope fine it has been OK here every body is fine Suppose you know Earl Mac has a Junior by now it is not very well but hope it lives any way
