and gone, and I for one, don't like it. I was hoping we were going to get rid of this bunch of political nit-wits. I was afraid though that they would get in again. I don't believe that any one will be able to beat Roosevelt as long as he runs and is able to talk over the radio. The people seem to get mesmorized when he starts pouring on the hot-air. The pheasant season is open now. It opened Oct. 28th and will close Dec 8th in the northern counties with a six male bird limit. There was a 10 day season with a three male bird limit in Linn, Jones Cedar, Benton and other counties around here. I have been out a few times, but have not done too well. Wish you were here to go up to Lake Mills with us. Westendorfs moved over east of Lake Mills this last spring. They wrote is to come up, but we didn't feel we ought to as it is so far away. Still working at Iowa Mfg. Am looking after their sub-contract work now. It's interesting, as I get around to a number of other plants and see how they do things. Earl and Jordan are still at Iowa. I see them every day. Earl was here this morning
