we followed the Reg'ts back to Thibodaux station where we got aboard of the cars for Algiers we got to our journeys end about 3 P.M. at which place we joined our Regements until further orders. We camped 1/2 a mile west of the Depot in Algiers The 19th A.C. [Army Corps] was all here preparing for an expedition to some unknown point
