The Epidermis which consists of slender [insertion] cylindrical or [/insertion] oblong cells (a single layer) not very well defined from the underlying tissue, and containing a few chlorophyl bodies scattered around close to the cell wall II Next to the Epidermis lies the [underlined] Collenchyma [/underlined], which consists of oblong cells with thick cellulose walls.
