They are from a camp you've heard a great deal about, the one I almost went to just before I went to Washington. Yesterday we had a busy time entertaining. Elsie James and her mother were here for lunch. I presided at Elsie's right hand, keeping her choked up on roast and potatoes. She didn't say much, and no one else said much except Mrs. Elsie who talked, talked, talked. She quite lived up to the reputation she has among theatrical and newspaper people for being unbearable.
