the young lady was going to sing at Vespers. Mama was very fond of her before that happened, but now-- only fawncy! Isn't it droll, all things considered? Aunt Flo & Uncle Frank have gone off to have a good time at a funeral, and left us alone, what a pity, with nothing to do but ponder, and read out loud to the kitty. For the first time since I left Missou, I am almost warm. Sunday that bunch of yaps got me to go wading with them, and my shrieks must have rent the heavens. Cold! Brr! I mos' nigh friz. I've not yet seen my nice old hubby in the movies. There is a picture showing at all the big theaters -- I forget its name but it's supposed to be authentic pictures of Pershing and our boys.
