110(?) July 3, 1918 My Sweetheart,- I am just back from a two-day trip through the Vosges mountains to the Swiss border and down into the German territory that the allies hold. It was wonderful, every mile of it! Tomorrow I am going to celebrate by writing all about it. I haven't time tonight to make a beginning even. I have been busy since I came back and it is now 11 o'clock.
