I have finally written to Mr. McChesney. I inquired about the check account. If it needs filling up a bit I shall do so. In the meantime I'm accumulating a surplus on savings deposit over here where it can draw interest and still be available in case of an emergency which would make it necessary for me to have a supply of cash. Any or all of it is yours to use at any time. I hope you wont be shy about telling me your financial situation and needs. Even though you do own an oil mine your fortune
