Ah shoh wish ah had been and ah hope we all can go back there together some day. I have just written to my Aunt Flo and her husband. It was kind of them to send me such delightful letters. From them I can get some idea of how pleasant a time you and "Dee" must be having there this month. The weather, of course, is much more pleasant there than down south, though I remember some very warm days in the vicinity of Minneapolis last summer. How I wish you could enjoy summer weather like we have here in Lorraine! Today I have found it too hot to keep my coat on, but that is the first time, and I'm cool enough with it off. That family of youngsters at Adrian must be charming. I'd like to see them, particularly the baby. I used to have such fun with my nephew John (whom you will probably know by the time this reaches you) when he was about two. I suppose you are staging "The Sammy Backers" again about this time. Of course, it will be a whoppin' success. I wish I knew some of the songs, and the book too for that matter. Can't you get away with a copy of the manuscript when Daphne
