Flo has a picture of me, up here on the piano, that I'd like to steal. I haven't one, and it's a full length in a concert gown I got while I was in Germany. A French dressmaker from Monte Carlo made it and ooh! It sure is pretty. I have no dresses made with the train now, of course, but that one was a keen looker. Corn colored and hung with heavy silver fringes. It looked like the inside of a cloud must look. What was left of it last year was made into a black dress, to teach in. Oh, I think I had it on the day you came. Dignified old dress on a very dignified old teacher, not? A fly is vocalizing in here and it's enough to make you weep.
