123 19 July, 1918. Dearest Girl, If you have ever spent a day hunting for a house, you know about how weary I am tonight. We are planning to establish an office in a city some sixty miles from here. Today Lieutenant Pozzi and I motored over to see what accommodations we could find for office, living rooms, and garage. After some searching we chanced upon a magnificent house near the telegraph office and in the best quarter of town. It comprises about fifteen rooms, has electric lights, two bathrooms, running water, and a central heating plant
