126 July 24, 1918. Sweetheart,-- Please don't look at my room today. I know it is all torn up, but you see I am sorting out my belongings preparatory to moving. I'll soon have them in order again. I paused in the process this morning to read some of your letters. It was heaps of fun. I am packing them all in a neat little box, which will be my most sacred possession. Some day it is going back to America with me to take its place among the treasures I shall have to remind me of this experience. A new letter from you arrived last night and made me happy as only letters from you can. I was sorry to read that you hadn't heard from me
