Honey, you don't know what a stirring letter that one of June 20 was. After reading it I felt almost as if you had been close to me. As nearby as a letter can it conveyed the feeling that is in your pranks when you mess my "precious hair" and inflict other kinds of nice abuse on me. I hope you'll not continue to believe that you have to hold back love for fear of tiring me, dear. You'll never be able to kiss me enough, nor I you, to make up for the kisses we are missing now, dearest. I always wanted to hold your hand all the time I was with you and to kiss you a great deal more than I did.
