one lives here but Norsks, and they are surely an ignorant type. Last night we watched the "House Guards" drill down town. A Norsk barber who was in the Spanish American War is drilling them. It was too funny for words to listen to his line of talk. Such English! I can get only one word out of ten, but the other Norsks seem to understand. Last night he was giving them some "setting up" exercises, and of all the grunting and cussing I ever heard!! Between spasms they lit up & smoked.
