One was to Mama, written on Mother's Day and she had to read hers before I dared to even open one. By a superhuman effort, I read only three and saved the others. One was a formal request for a fruitcake & a sweater, and the orders were O.K.'d by a dude who must be some kin to me judging by the way he spells his name. Polish, certainly.
