Ninety-five. June 12, 1918. Best Belovedest,- There is a lull this afternoon in official duties, which has permitted Lieutenant Hartzell and I to come to our apartment to loaf. I wish you could see how delightful these rooms are. Particularly I wish you could see the exquisitely embroidered things that cover tables, chairs and bed. There are three very pretty little doilies on one table with pieces of bric-a-brac on them, two simpler things on two other tables, two lacy affairs on the plush seats of the chairs, rather elaborate curtains, and a perfectly wonderful covering over all the bed.
