you, sistah, the morphine route is a sure way to a worse hell than tooth-ache. Now will you be good? I enjoyed seeing the program of George Schumann's and Helen Rogers' recital. And perhaps I was proud of it because the appearance of the name Reynolds on it suggested anew what an accomplished person my wife is. Incidentally, you have never told me what "C'est la Guerre" is. Stingy, you might write part of it for me! Or all! And I'm regretful because I can't see, or could not have seen, the Grecian Dance. The reason is not because of the scantiness of the costumes, either, but because the whole thing was the result of your genius and work. I should like to have been standing in the wings to pat your hand and tell you how well you had done.
