drawer full of baby things which she says she is saving for us. Very nice of her, but a trifle premature, I think. The kids are learning to sing the "Marsellaise" and they are doing first rate at it. In fact there is music in the air all the time. Last night, for the first time since I've had the tummy ache I dressed and went with the folks to the Chautauqua. It was an evening of music. Two of the eight were fairly good; the pianist was awful!! It was funny to see the kids I used to consider mere infants, wheeling around babies of their own and pretending to be real people of affairs. It is very disquieting to find that so
