106 June 26, 1918. My jolly old Wif,- Ta, de, da, da, da, da-ah! By the dawn's early light, Ta dee ah, da dee ah Da dee ah da da da - dah! Maybe you can guess what has happened? Right you are. There were seven from you, one from Hazella, one from Son George, and two each from the frere and soeur. They were just in time. All day I had had probably the meanest disposition in France. When the poor innocent field clerk trod on my tender spot by mentioning the fact that he received four letters yesterday I almost bit his head off. If there had been twenty-four hours more delay
