to be imposed upon by being put in our atrocious hotel we lieutenants have to put him up in our own house and feed him. Really, we feed so many people in a month who don't pay anything that our mess bills stack up tremendously. Somehow I can't see the justice in the government's shifting it's entertainment expenses on a few sub-lieutenants. Early in the afternoon I cut out of the Stars and Stripes some of their soldier bunk that I thought might entertain you. Of the poems the first one seemed to me the only thing anywhere near good, but I send 'em all. I love you, love you very much, honey girl. And I am still living every day and hour and minute for my return to you. Yours always, Couger. Conger Reynolds 2nd Lt, A. G. D.
