His primary job is to coordinate Spanish-speaking activities within the diocese of Davenport, Rockford and Peoria. DATES TO REMEMBER: February 14 thru 27, 1971.....NATIONAL LULAC WEEK Council presidents are urged to commence making preparations to give this week all the publicity possible. February 13, 1971..........DISTRICT #2 CONVENTION along with STATE SUPREME COUNCIL MEETING at Lulac Club; 4224 Bluegrass Rd.; Davenport, Iowa. May 22, 1971...........IOWA STATE LULAC CONVENTION at Fort Madison, Iowa. June 24, 25, 26, and 27, 1971. NATIONAL LULAC CONVENTION in Denver, Colorado. Encourage your fellow Lulac members to attend this national convention which is so near our area. HISTORY OF LULAC: Deputy Director Felix Sanchez is writing up the history of Lulac in Iowa and wants to have it ready for our 1971 convention booklet. However, he needs much help. Each council should write to him at 1415 37th St., Fort Madison, and ask him what service your council can offer. Felix mentioned this to me on the way home from McAllen, Texas, and I told him then that it would be a tremendous task to assemble this. Knowing him, however, I feel
