Some of the things he mentioned were: locations of our state conventions, our state directors, deputy directors, district directors, and the scholarship winners over the years, including the man and woman of the year selected at our conventions. NATIONAL DUES: The treasurer of each council is reminded that dues to the national office were due for the quarter ending September 30, 1970, and the next quarter December 31, 1970. Dues should be 75 cents per month or $2.25 per quarter year for each member. Checks should be made payable to "NATIONAL LULAC OFFICE" and mailed to Mr. Ruben M. Garcia Lulac National Treasurer P.O. Box #966 Laredo, Texas 78040 Do not make out checks to the State Director or to any other individual. LULAC PUBLICITY: Ernie Rodriguez in Davenport will handle publicity of Lulac in Iowa, so if you have any news releases, etc. be sure to contact him. We need news of your council for Lulac Glances and for the Lulac Newspaper. Address: Ernest Rodriguez 418 Main Street Davenport, Iowa 52801 Let us hear from you.
