Dear Mr. Terronez:

On behalf of the Attorney General and the Department of Justice, it is my pleasure to inform you that you have been selected to receive one of the 1979 Distinguished Service Awards during the Attorney General's 29th Annual Awards Ceremony. The ceremony will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 23, 1979, in the Great Hall of the Department of Justice. 

A reception will be held at 2:00 p.m. in the 1400 corridor of the Department for award recipients and their guests. Enclosed are two invitations that will identify your guests at the reception and allow them into the reserved seating section during the ceremony. Please ask your guests to use the entrance on Constitution Avenue, in the center of the Main Justice Building.

In order to ensure that enough seats are available for all guests, please notify Ms. Sandie Stone. (202) 724-5763, if you plan to invite guests and, if so , how many guests you will be bringing. A limited number of additional invitations are available, if needed. We would appreciate your contacting Ms. Stone no later than May 11, 1979, so that seating plans can be finalized.
