to raise their tomatoes for the Heinz Co. in Muscatine, Iowa, [?] Juan was a tall six footer who reminded you of Abraham Lincoln or Ichabod Crane of Sleepy Hollow fame. he had a rather small head topped with dark hair which Juan combed once a day when he got up in the morning. He had a rather long nose and small chin and mouth that gave his face a pinched in effect. But the most striking feature was his deep set piercing eyes under almost brushy eyebrows. His eyes reflected Juan's many moods. They were bright with good humor when he was in good humor with was most of the time. When he did become serious or angry his eyes reflected [?] that was forboding of a persuasive argument or a [?] tirade always bearing a convincing logic.
