DE COLORES
(All in Color)

The song "De Colores" originated with the Cursillista Catholic Movement in Spain. They say that a group of cursillistas were returning from a cursillo when the car in which they were traveling had a flat. They stopped to repair the tire and on viewing the beautiful countryside bathed in the morning light of the sun, they were inspired to express their joy and happiness. They composed "De Colores" to conmemorate the moment of spiritual joy they felt. 

The song has snce gained popularity in the Spanish-speaking world. Now it is becoming known in the Chicano movement and is fast beocoming identified with it.
