Fort Madison, Branch OF THE National Association for the Advancement of Colored People SPECIAL LETTER SEPTEMBER 25, 1966 Fort Madison, Iowa 52627 Attention! There will be a special meeting of the Fort Madison, Branch, membership on Thurdday, September 29, 1966 at 7:30Pm for the purpose of selecting delegates to the 1966 State Conference of Iowa NAACP Branches which will be held here, October 7-9. This Branch is entitled to a delegation of five. Please try to attend. The meeting will be held at the office of Drs. Harper. Don't forget! 7:30PM on Thursday, September 29, 1966 The cooperation whcih is in evidence as we make preparations to host the 1966 Annual Iowa State Conference of Branches is marvelous. The Branch membership and friends of the organization are extending themselves to such an extent that this can't help but be one of the most successful conferences that the Iowa NAACP Branches have ever known! Our thanks to all of you! Time schedules for the event are attached. We hope all of you will make pans to attend some part of the conference. The potluck supper is open to all of the membership free of charge. Please try to attend!
